POST-CAMP GROUP GUIDELINES

Welcome! If you need anything, just ask. Enjoy our home during your stay.

This includes some basic announcements that can also be announced to your group:

• We are glad that you are here and hope you have a great stay.

• Please no littering, if you see something on the ground pick it up. Please be certain all areas are left clean after use. Please recycle appropriate materials.

• Please no gum…..and do not throw on ground or place under furniture. Be certain any gum is properly placed in a garbage can.

• Please place any equipment back in bins or bring to the office porch.

• Please no graffiti. Please respect our camp property and traditions.

• Please do not hang anything on the cabin plaques.

• Please turn off lights and shut doors tight when exiting buildings.

• Please report any leaks, running toilets or broken windows.

• Please only flush TP down toilets. Use sanitary napkin disposal bags.

• If you utilize water-balloons, all debris must be picked up! No shaving cream graffiti.

• No skateboards or bicycles permitted.

• Rollerblades can only be used with the proper safety equipment and on pre-approved hockey surfaces only.

• No Food in The Field House or on any courts.

• Please stay out of buildings that your group is not authorized to enter.

• No one should ever be alone; the group must observe the “Rule Of 3”.

• Do not feed the camp dog or attempt to take food from him!

• No vehicles beyond the parking lot; vehicles must stay on designated paths/roadways. No cars may be driven in camp. Do not drive on grass.

• The waterfront is off limits for swimming except for accompanied dogs. The waterfront is off limits when the gates are closed. Dogs allowed at waterfront with their people. Only dogs may swim. “Slip and Slide” water slides are not permitted.

• Please try to keep golf carts off grass.

• As per agreement, a security guard/watchman will be provided by CT and paid for by renter. This will be for 12 hours per day.

• Dogs are not allowed in the dining hall at any time.

• Do not jog on the road alone and do not trespass on neighbors’ property.

• Please respect our neighbors; the speed limit on Niles Pond Road is 25 MPH.

• Renter should provide a checklist roster at the main gate, and you must have a qualified security guard 12 hours per day.

• No excessive loud music or announcements, at any time.

• Cabins are to be cleaned and inspected prior to departure.

• If you need to visit the local Wayne Memorial Hospital, please do not mention that you are part of Camp Towanda. This confuses their billing system.

• Any late arrivals should be listed on a checklist roster at the main gate.

• Park and drive only in clearly designated and authorized areas.

• Glass bottles are restricted to authorized areas. No smoking anywhere on campgrounds.

• COVID-19: Organizations that rent our facility may establish their own protocols (we are happy to consult); It is recommended that guests are vaccinated. Protocols are subject to change based on situation/development at time of rental period.
