Rescue and Senior Dog Parades

Rescue Parade

Held every year on the great lawn area in the center of camp, this is a wonderful event and great opportunity to introduce our wonderful rescues to the joys of camp and hear their incredible stories.  Not sure your dog is a rescue? Go with your gut – it’s never wrong.

All registrations forms must be received by August 12 so that we can have time to put the program together and order gifts for all the wonderful participants. Include a short bio of your dog, twenty-five words or less.

Please include your check for $10 made payable to LIGRR with your form.

Senior dogs

Or join us on the great lawn to celebrate the beauty and grace of our senior dogs. Senior dogs are eight years and older.

All registrations forms must be received by August 12 so that we can have time to put the program together and order gifts for all the wonderful participants. Include three words that best describe your senior dog.

The best part about participating in the parades is that all proceeds raised from entering your Rescue or Senior in the event will be donated to Long Island Golden Retriever Rescue. If you would like to have your rescue or senior included in these event(s) please print out and submit the appropriate registration forms and mail them to Melanie Mayo at the address on each form.
